Here we are again, the end of another vacation. Not really, though, vacation actually ended for me last Thursday, but anyway, tonight is the end of Val's official spring break week, so it feels like the party's over. Back to the grindstone routine tomorrow.

We did have a fine time in Charleston, SC, and I have a hundred and a half pictures to sort through and organize and get uploaded. Don't worry, not all of them will make the cut, just a select few highlights.

We've changed foster cats again. Ebony was adopted and we received a young female cat from a feral colony. Her name is Lilly and she's friendly but shy, and we're trying to spend a fair amount of time with her to get her socialized. She probably wouldn't do too well if she went back out with the feral colony, so hopefully someone will take an interest in her once we get her on her feet.

I picked up a few new books on our trip, The Blank Slate, The Modern Denial of Human Nature by Steven Pinker, and Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk. I've read other books by both authors before, and so far I haven't been disappointed. My "notes" will be in the words section of the site eventually.

The motorcycle is still sitting in the basement. I have it all put back together, but I don't own a helmet, and I haven't had the time and money to deal with the paperwork of transferring ownership. Nothing to report. I MIGHT rewire the handlebars, as long as it's not going anywhere anytime soon. We'll see...
