The finest start to any vacation, breakfast at Big Ed's. I had the not-very-breakfasty BBQ catfish, with collard greens, boiled taters, coleslaw, cornbread and biscuits, with peach cobbler for desert. Desert with breakfast, you say? BBQ catfish for breakfast? Only at Big Ed's. Now I'm packing for my trip to the East Bay. This is the first of many cross-country flights, so I'm preparing myself for my new bicoastal lifestyle. It's 70 in Raleigh today, so I'll actually be traveling to cooler weather in California. Strange. Raleigh to Cali by way of Pittsburgh tonight, and back on Monday morning via overnight red eye.
